Purpose of Role

Condair's IT Support Specialist role is a professional who is responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues. This role includes providing support to staff in person and remote primarily to users in North America but also around the world. Several key roles include maintaining IT systems, Installing and configuring computer hardware, software and ensuring IT services are always online and available.

This support role also has a secondary component supporting Condair’s MS Teams Telephony component from a global perspective. This consists of deploying, maintaining and supporting teams Telephony systems for all local Condair business entities.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a competent level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Job Summary:

  • Primary first and second level IT support for Condair locations in North America in a face-to-face capacity, over the phone or via remote desktop software
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, address issues related to the Microsoft 365 suite and standard applications defined by Condair.
  • Install and maintain Windows clients, primarily via MS Intune
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and access controls across the M365 platform and IT landscape.
  • Monitor hardware, software, network availability and user support requests using Condair’ predefined toolsets including asset management.
  • Maintain and operate critical manufacturing printing equipment including Zebra label printers, copiers, and other printing solutions.
  • Advise and support users in corporate projects that have IT related components ensuring best practices are followed and projects are inline with Condair global standards.
  • Participation in global IT projects, team meetings, including migrations, software rollouts, hardware replenishments, etc.
  • Staying current with technology trends and advancements to recommend upgrades and new systems that will improve organizational efficiency.
