DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an experienced PCB Repair Technician to join our growing team. The PCB Repair Technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Bitcoin mining hardware and software. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the Bitcoin mining process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will perform hashboard diagnosis and repair in our in-house repair center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Bitcoin mining hardware, including ASICs, GPUs, and mining rigs.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and rework PCB boards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Bitcoin mining equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of mining equipment, including inventory, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely resolution of issues related to mining operations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Bitcoin mining hardware and software.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians and interns to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3 months of micro-soldering experience is required.
  • Experience working with multimeter, oscilloscope, bench top power supply, signal generator, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer hardware maintenance and repair, with at least 1 year of experience in Bitcoin mining operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Bitcoin mining hardware, including ASICs, GPUs, and mining rigs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Familiarity with Bitcoin mining software, including mining pool software, mining clients, and monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical and cooling systems related to Bitcoin mining equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Near vision needed– ability to see details at close range.
  • Finger dexterity – ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.

Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

A range of compensation is provided for transparency, however different factors may affect this range. Some of these factors may include (but are not limited to) education, training, credentials, skills, geographic location, and experience. This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
Range of Compensation: $20.00-$27.00/hour
