  • This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be an integral part of preparing the Company’s monthly production material outlook and build plan. She or he will provide strategic support to production management including presentations or other projects requested by production management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • RFQ to PR process; determine raw material requirements to support manufacturing schedules and work with Purchasing to schedule materials based on production forecasts
  • Controlled release of work orders to production to cover schedule requirements
  • Ensure efficient and timely management of work orders to meet inventory stock requirements and customer order requirements
  • Responsible for monthly analytics and end of month activities
  • Balance schedule requirements with production capacity and adjust schedule as required to align with capacity and constraints
  • Act on all matters pertaining to schedules, status and inventory
  • Responsible for the systems linked to Supply Chain
  • Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production to ensure that materials and services are provided to support master production schedule
  • Assess production issues and develop resolutions to meet production goals and objectives
  • Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement
  • Track daily production

  • Associate degree, plus five years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge & proficient skills using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects & ERP Visual Enterprise
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Ability to think creatively; highly-driven and self motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes that affect ability to react quickly to unanticipated orders and establishment of inventory levels to support these challenges

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 20 pounds
  • Ability to operate computer and other office equipment in the office
  • Ability to sit at a desk for more than one hour at a time
  • Ability to move about the manufacturing facility to interact with employees
  • Ability to bend and stoop in order to file and shelve
  • Normally work in an office environment or from home as needed by the business; however, occasionally when work is required in the manufacturing facility you may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
