Job Summary:

Manufacturing Materials Analyst is primarily responsible for managing, material and supplies are delivered on time for production. Secondarily, you will be responsible for ordering MRO items for manufacturing and other shop supplies. You will also monitor and analyze suppliers’ performance and quality, ensuring that the goods meet the required specifications. The Buyer Analyst also maintains an accurate inventory record.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing materials and supplies required for production.
  • Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Analyzing market trends to determine the most competitive prices.
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Updating and maintaining purchasing records and data.
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or Supply Chain Management or High School Diploma with 5 – 7 years Manufacturing experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Inventory management.
  • Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Excel, and JobBoss software programs is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Additional Qualifying Factors

  • Experience or knowledge in low voltage switch gear or other power distribution equipment a plus.
  • Must be able to complete drug screen and criminal record background check.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must comply with all company policies.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Work Environment:

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for long periods.
