MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our Salisbury, MD location. At this location, you will have a set 4-day workweek, 10 hours per day schedule with a 3-day weekend. The Medical Receptionist will provide exceptional patient experience during a patient's pre and post-appointment, which may include helping them complete any paperwork, handling medical insurance, collecting payments and balances, and scheduling follow-up appointments. This role will use critical thinking skills to manage the clinic's schedule and interpersonal skills to establish professional relationships with multidisciplinary roles within the clinic and organization.

In addition, this role may also serve as the primary point of contact for our prospective patients. You will educate referred patients about the services and programs CoreLife offers. The attitude, tone of voice, and overall demeanor are key for our prospective patients to attend their initial appointment and begin their journey in our program.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical insurance
  • Passion for changing lives, one prospective patient at a time
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
