CCTV Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Installation Technician to join our team. As a CCTV Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality CCTV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Configuration:

   • Install, configure, and set up CCTV systems, cameras, and related equipment.
   • Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and wiring for optimal surveillance coverage.

2. System Testing and Commissioning:

   • Conduct thorough testing of CCTV systems to verify functionality and performance.
   • Commission installed systems, adjusting settings and configurations as needed.

3. Maintenance and Repairs:

   • Perform routine maintenance on CCTV systems to ensure continuous operation.
   • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, conducting repairs and replacements as necessary.

4. Technical Expertise:

   • Stay updated on the latest CCTV technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
   • Provide technical expertise to clients and colleagues on CCTV system capabilities and configurations.

5. Documentation:

   • Create detailed documentation of CCTV system installations, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
   • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service history.

6. Client Interaction:

   • Collaborate with clients to understand their surveillance needs and provide recommendations.
   • Conduct training sessions for clients on the proper use and maintenance of CCTV systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CCTV Installation Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, cameras, and related equipment.
• Familiarity with different types of CCTV technologies and configurations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
