We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving financial performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending updates to financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience in the software industry or technology sector is preferred but not required.
