Spa Receptionist

Hilton Marco Island Resort and Spa is currently seeking a dynamic Spa Attendant to join the best and most relaxing Spa team on Marco Island

Position Purpose:

The Front Desk Coordinators are the first and last impression we have on the guest. Therefore, they are not only responsible for the beautification of the reception and retail area, but also for the experience each guest has at the Spa. This includes greeting all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests regarding Spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking guests into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additionally, Front Desk Coordinators are responsible for maintaining the efficacy of the day by maximizing profits by following proper booking procedures, as well as completing each sale with the offering of retail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Responsible for reception and overall appearance of guest areas.

- Guest relations: Answering phone calls in a pleasant manner, greeting guests warmly, booking appointments efficiently and to Spa standards, assisting in the guest’s needs

while they are enjoying their Spa day, checking the guest into computer system, and accurately charging guests for services and retail products.

- Responsible for overall guest satisfaction and following empowerment guidelines to make it right.

- Assisting guests with retail sales and questions regarding services or products. Completing the retail sale for Service Providers and giving due credit for sales.

- Selling: Upselling services and making the most out of every call/walk-in which includes booking appointments to maximize profitability.

- Promoting the Spa’s treatments, services, retail, promotions and discounts available. Offer service upgrade options to every guest and have an in-depth knowledge of all

services and product.

- Handle guest’s questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

- Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.

- Preparing opening and closing shift reports, responsible for cash drawer balancing.

- Attending all Spa meetings, on-going training on POS system, product and service knowledge classes, and participates in retail inventory control / reports.

- Maintaining communication with back of house staff to ensure the Spa is functioning smoothly, guests are taken care of properly, and team members are aware of changes

throughout the course of the day.

OTHER:

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Upon employment, all team members are required to fully comply with hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Team Members who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
