SGE Marketing- IT Services Inc. (a Spring-Green Enterprise company) is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our IT team.  The Technical Support Specialist is a full-time position located in Naperville, IL.  This position will have a hybrid work schedule and will report to the Naperville corporate office certain days of the week.  We offer competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) participation, and paid holidays and vacation.  We also provide hybrid (remote/In the office) work flexibility.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for the oversight and management of assigned projects within SGE Marketing Services & Technology Departments. The focus is to oversee concurrent projects, assist with requirements gathering and documentation, and communicating across department lines ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.  This position requires a strong leader who is a self-starter, can execute with intention and influence, and communicates extremely well.   This position will report directly to the VP of IT.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules for assigned IT/ Marketing projects.
  • Lead the management of assigned projects from inception to completion.
  • Track and report the status of project activities, milestones, and deliverables to execute the project on time and on budget.
  • Identify, assess, and facilitate resolution of business and technical issues and risks.
  • Work with business users to establish key deliverables, document deliverables, ensure resources remain aligned with project goals, and allocate proper resource time for each project.
  • Manage the ingestion of new projects, enhancements, and support tickets within the IT organization.
  • Communicate effectively between all members of the project team by facilitating timely and appropriate generation, collection, and dissemination of project information.
  • Take a supporting role in ongoing improvement of project management methods deployed across the company.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships built on trust with department leaders, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Understand department initiatives interfacing with department leaders and peers to provide and obtain information and build consensus regarding project direction.
  • Work as a resource with the department leaders to establish project costs, review budgets, manage and approve project change orders, and budget adjustments. 
  • Liaison with the enterprise PMO on best practices adoption, documentation requirements, and cross functional projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and predictable on-site or online attendance is required for access to pertinent systems, data interaction with vendors, personnel, and other business partners.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred from four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within an IT environment or equivalent technical project execution experience.
  • Experience in an agile development environment is required.
  • Experience with a multitude of software technologies and vendor management is required.
  • Experience with business, functional, and technical documentation methods and best practices.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, including Jira, Wrike, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that are large in complexity, size, scope, schedule, and budget while holding team accountable for results.
  • Experience in marketing technologies, including ecommerce web platforms, digital marketing platforms, call center software, and CRM technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with relational databases, cloud platforms, and system integration projects.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
  • A valid drivers’ license is required with good driving record.
