We are looking for a motivated Local Class A Yard Jockey to move trailers around the premises. Duties of the Class A Yard Jockey include arranging trailers in shipping yards; moving trailers from yard to yard. The ideal candidate should have a Class A CDL license and at least one year of Class A driving experience. If you have previous experience with a Class A license, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

v Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns

v Verify the list of assigned tractors and trailers

v Move tractor trailers in/out of doors and truck yard

v Ensure tractors and trailers are ready drive off: tractor and trailer must be hooked up, air lines connected, landing gear raised and trailer doors shut

Requirements:

v Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record

v 1 year of driving experience

v Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record

v Ability to handle physical demands
