Compassionate In-Home Caregiver Kalamazoo, MI

Key Responsibilities:


  • Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Mobility Support: Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Medication Management: Monitor medication schedules, offer reminders, and assist with medication administration as needed.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and accommodate dietary restrictions to support clients' health and well-being.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining an organized living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and build positive relationships to enhance clients' quality of life.
Qualifications:


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related healthcare role preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Reliability: Ability to follow care plans accurately, work independently, and handle responsibilities with care and attention.
