Position Overview: As the Lead Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our data analysis initiatives and driving the development of actionable insights and recommendations. You'll lead a team of talented data analysts, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and analyses that drive business impact. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  2. Project Management: Lead end-to-end data analysis projects, from problem formulation and data exploration to analysis, visualization, and presentation of insights, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  3. Data Exploration: Lead efforts to explore and analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights and trends, using statistical analysis techniques and data visualization tools.
  4. Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  5. Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to derive insights from data and validate assumptions, ensuring robust and reliable results.
  6. Predictive Modeling: Develop predictive models and forecasts to support business decision-making, using techniques such as regression analysis, time series forecasting, and machine learning.
  7. Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data validation, cleaning, and reconciliation tasks, and collaborating with data engineering teams to address data quality issues.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring and tracking mechanisms to assess the performance and impact of data analysis initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  9. Documentation and Best Practices: Define and promote best practices for data analysis, including data visualization standards, analysis methodologies, and documentation practices, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation to facilitate understanding and collaboration among team members.
  10. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  11. Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach junior data analysts, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development and career growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading data analysis teams and delivering impactful insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib, and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills, with experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series forecasting.
  • Experience with predictive modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms, with proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
