Job Details:

  • Position: Vehicle Mechanic
  • Location: Maui, HI
  • Salary Range: $52,000 to $66,000 per year (Pay rate may vary based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and other company vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical problems, and engine malfunctions.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension components.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests using specialized equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • ASE certification is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
