Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. In this crucial role, you will primarily focus on administrative tasks such as handling data entry tasks, processing incoming payments, updating customer records, and collaborating with our legal teams as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Excel spreadsheets with accounts receivable information.
  • Update customer accounts with comprehensive notes regarding communications and changes to contact and mailing information.
  • Organize and file attorney letters related to overdue accounts.
  • Provide data-related support to ensure the team's efficiency.
  • Cross-train with collection agents to provide departmental coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an office, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial matters.
