Position Overview: As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our financial wellness SaaS platform. You will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team to achieve targets, fostering a high-performance culture, and identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
  2. Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching and development of sales skills across the sales lifecycle: pipeline generation, opportunity management, and closing, to ensure goals are met.
  3. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.
  4. Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of opportunities through the sales cycle.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the parent company's head of sales to align sales efforts, share best practices, and leverage resources effectively.
  6. Business Development: Identify and pursue additional business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets to drive revenue growth.
  7. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Provide insights into weekly, monthly, and quarterly execution, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  8. Customer Relationship Management: Work with the Customer Success Team to maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their evolving needs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  9. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform sales strategies and positioning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of leading consistently over-achieving sales teams, preferably in the SaaS industry or financial services sector.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team, and track record of developing individual contributors’ skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
