Location: Springfield, Illinois

SUMMARY: Provide Bureau of Maternal/Child Health (BMCH) and develop web-based courses and presentations. This position is a full-time in person position (not remote).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a working knowledge of policy and procedural guidelines for the Illinois Department

Of Human Services programs that govern the Community Health Training Center’s curricula.

Provide clinical/programmatic and computer (DHS management information system) training for the IDHS Bureau of Maternal and Child Health High Risk Family Case Management Program .

Develop and revise web-based modules for IDHS Office of Family Wellness programs using

web authoring software.

Travel to the CHTC-Chicago site to provide programmatic and computer training as required by

the Illinois Department of Human Services.

Develop and revise web-based modules for IDHS Office of Family Wellness programs using

web authoring software.

Provide technical assistance and guidance to local agencies as needed.

Perform other duties and attend meetings as required or assigned which are reasonable and

within the scope of duties defined above.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience preferred with the Family Case Management Program and Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).

Experience in teaching is desirable with above average communication (written and oral) skills.

Experience in community health or maternal and child health nursing specifically including familiarity with IDHS & IDPH Programs.

Familiarity with web authoring tools.
