Maintenance Technician

Eastern Alloys in Maybrook, New York is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician with an emphasis on troubleshooting, installation, and repair of industrial control systems.

Candidate must be able to:

• Troubleshoot and repair control systems with or without blueprints and schematics.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Know, understand, and follow OSHA and Safety Regulations.
• Know, understand, and follow company policies and procedures.
• Wear the appropriate required PPE.
• Work alone or within a team environment.
• Work with the maintenance department to assist with repairs and projects.
• Identify and itemize needed materials to perform installations and repairs.
• Assist with inventory management of critical spares.
• Have knowledge and understanding of production equipment and processes.
• Perform work requiring knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, wiring specification and electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot control equipment including but not limited to; VFD’s, PLC’s, Motor Starters, Relays, Burner Management Systems, Encoders, Photocells/Limit Switches, 480V Three Phase, Low Voltage Systems, and Coil Inductors
• Install new conduit, Sealtite, and electrical services.
• Wire industrial electric motors including 480V 3 phase.
• Operate a forklift, manlift, and scissor lift.
