Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEPRS Training Specialist to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Falls Church, VA. This role requires a deep understanding of Military Health System (MHS) managerial cost accounting and data improvement processes, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing and strategically planning the integration and reporting of healthcare workload, personnel, and cost accounting data using standardized, auditable business rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Oversight: Lead and contribute to strategic planning and oversight in four key areas, including the standardization of MEPRS policies, procedures, and business practices.
  • Training & Stakeholder Support: Provide comprehensive training and support to stakeholders on MEPRS policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application of business rules across the MHS.
  • Data Quality Improvement: Enhance the quality of Expense Assignment System (EAS) data through surveillance, job aids, templates, and program management support.
  • Program Management: Oversee and manage programs related to MEPRS and DMHRSi, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and best practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform data analysis to support decision-making, and develop reports that facilitate the integration and reporting of healthcare workload and cost data.
  • Web Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of web-based tools and resources that support MEPRS training and data improvement processes.

About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the Department of Defense, focusing on data improvement processes and stakeholder training.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science (B.S.) or Arts (B.A.) is required.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of Military Health System (MHS) managerial cost accounting, including MEPRS policies and DMHRSi program management.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in data analysis and program management.
  • Strong communication and training skills, with the ability to engage and educate stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in web development and the ability to create and maintain web-based training tools and resources.
