Job Summary: As a Certified Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing our customers’ vehicles and ensuring quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.Technicians must have his or her own tools.

As an Automotive Technician, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

o Perform repairs on all car and light truck systems.

o Assist with vehicle inspection

o Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

o Comply with all company policies and procedures

o Communicates directly with store leadership and with customer service advisors regarding the status of the service work.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to diagnose the following key components and potentially make any/all necessary repairs:

o Engine Performance
o Suspension and Steering
o Electrical
o Heating and Air Conditioning
o Brake System

• Must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills. You will be in consistent communication with store leadership, fellow store teammates, vendors and guests.

• Continuously has the desire to learn new technical information and techniques.

• Demonstrates a positive approach and friendly style to our guests, vendors, leadership and fellow teammates.

Experience Required & Education/Training Requirements:

• 5 years of automotive experience.

• Prefere a minimum of 3 (ASE) certifications in engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, and Heating & Air Conditioning, or Brakes. If not certified, must be willing and able to obtain first ASE within first 3 months of employment.

• Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license during employment with a clean driving record.
