What we are looking for:

An Operations Finance Director to support our Operations and FP&A leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and financial background, the leadership ability to operationalize new ideas and insights, and the ownership mindset to consistently and proactively seek ways to improve the business outcomes for his/her assigned division(s).

What you'll do:

  • Assess and present data, providing insight to help drive business strategy.

  • Create, execute, and distribute timely and accurate reporting to support current and emerging business needs.

  • Research operational issues, propose and/or execute solutions.

  • Prove the effectiveness of operational changes via metrics and other measurable elements of implemented changes.

  • Apply quantitative skills to support key operational initiatives.

  • Lead monthly financial/operations reviews including explaining key drivers behind financial performance.

  • Budgeting and ongoing forecasting of revenue, labor, and controllable cost items.

  • In partnership with Division Vice Presidents, identify opportunities for operational improvement.

  • Build models for denovos, relocations, expansion projects and capital equipment purchases.

  • Interpret data, develop solutions, and effectively communicate your recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Coach non-finance-oriented leaders on how to use our tools and manage a P&L.

  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

It’ll help to have/be:

  • Minimum of three (3) years in healthcare

  • Experience with Adaptive Insights and Sage Intacct experience, preferred.

  • Experience and passion for fast paced high growth companies that use data to drive decision making.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Masters’ degree preferred

  • Expert level computer skills and proficiency in finance/accounting systems, MS excel, word, outlook and power point required

  • Ability to build partnerships with all levels of management, cross-functional business partners and C-level executives

  • Demonstrated experience performing modeling, forecasting and budgeting-related financial activities.

  • Experienced in a heavy analytical/collaboration environment is a plus.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%


Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
