JOB SUMMARY

Facilities Technicians have a background in building and equipment maintenance and installations. This role possesses a high attention to detail, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to proactively seek out and develop creative solutions to challenges as they arise. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Execute preventive maintenance programs (PPM) as instructed by management
  • Assist with the repair of malfunctioning equipment
  • Quality check equipment as needed, to ensure everything is in working order
  • Follow inspection maintenance and repair schedules as promulgated by the management team
  • Act as on-call handyman when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Work closely with the production and security teams to execute facilities related functions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have working knowledge of and/or experience with the following systems: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Safety, Construction, Electronic Controls; certifications preferred
  • Able to lift or move up to 75 pounds
  • Cannabis knowledge and/or industry experience helpful
  • Requires some variable hours and on call response after regular business hours to meet the needs of the business. Requires some weekend, holiday and evening work for maintenance, installations and/or emergencies
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn and take responsibility for work environment
  • Comfortable working with compressed gases
  • Strong critical thinking and creative skills
  • Detail oriented and organizational
  • Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently
  • Must​ ​be​ ​a​t least ​21​ ​years​ ​of​ ​age
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
  • Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
  • Willing to build understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
  • Must​ ​pass​ ​any​ ​and​ ​all​ ​required​ ​background​ ​checks
  • Must​ ​be​ ​and​ ​remain​ ​compliant​ ​with​ ​any​ ​and​ ​all​ ​regulatory requirements​ ​for​ ​working​ ​in​ ​the cannabis industry
  • Must​ be able to ​obtain​ ​and​ ​retain​ ​a​ ​Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation
  • Must have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Must be focused, pay close attention to detail
  • Must be able to internalize training and ​follow instructions
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Other duties as assigned
