Responsibilities and Duties:

At Butler-Cohen, Assistant Superintendents are junior level field operations personnel. Their primary roles are to support Superintendents with managing construction of the project and developing the skillset and experience required to mature into a Superintendent role. They will assist with field supervision, coordination, and monitoring of the Work, and managing the Project Site. They are also involved with scheduling, client meetings, project reporting, and the management of change process. Assistant Superintendents will also actively participate in the project Safety and Quality programs. More experienced Assistant Superintendents may have the opportunity to lead on one of our smaller projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of commercial experience as an Assistant Superintendent
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

• Willingness to travel in market and/or relocate based on project location.
• Able to access entire jobsite including stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc.
• Can work in physical positions including kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending over, etc.

• Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software, and Project Management software (Procore preferred)
