Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Manager/President to join our senior leadership team.

The General Manager/President s responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies to achieve term top line, profit, market share, and cash flow goal by integrating sales, operations, finance, logistics, and human resource disciplines to maximize the global business performance. He/she must be able to lead and manage people, processes and systems that will drive results. Specific responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of overall long-term strategic plan, set targets and timelines, and meet and exceed them through execution, accountability, and problem solving.
  • Works directly with the Supply Technologies leadership and CFO to approve short term objectives and funding needed to achieve long term objectives.
  • Responsible for achieving all financial targets set forth each year during the annual planning process.
  • Develop and maintain an highly effective organization through the selection, training, and motivation of all SFS Team members. Drive a culture of performance, agility and growth.
  • Promote and encourage the development of people to ensure leadership continuity. Partners with the Human Resources Director to review organization and staffing plans to ensure that they are consistent and competitive in attaining the division’s objectives.
  • Develop an organizational structure that promotes growth and accountability while maintaining key operational controls across the business.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, clients, and partners to facilitate communication with respect to the external impact of internal operations.
  • Seek and evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, alliances, and expansion vs outsourcing for the group.

Must Haves:

  • Proven success in the industrial supply industry leading a growth oriented business or division.
  • Strong financial acumen of leading a $50M multi location P&L including managing working capital to achieve cash flow targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute growth strategies, analyze financial data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Track record of people development and creating a great place to work culture
  • Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and a focus on building lasting customer relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field strongly preferred.
