General Summary:

The Director, IT & Cloud Solutions oversees the strategic direction, implementation, and management of all IT and Cloud systems within the organization. Highly skilled, forward looking and a big picture perspective. Leading a team of IT professionals, this role ensures efficient operations and alignment with business objectives. The position requires effective collaboration across departments, including architecture, security, sales, and product development, to enhance user experience and drive innovation. The Director develops budgets, allocates resources, and stays abreast of technological advancements to support continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance management with innovation at the forefront;
  • Develop and execute long-term IT/Cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals;
  • Collaborate with other departments to address IT needs, optimizing user efficiency;
  • Evaluate current technologies and anticipate future requirements for scalable business growth;
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT and Cloud systems and infrastructure;
  • Ensure robust security measures and protocols are implemented to protect company data and information systems;
  • Assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on business operations;
  • Develop and manage IT budgets to maximize resource efficiency and competitiveness in the market;
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports on IT and Cloud operations;
  • Proven leadership with people, including holding others accountable;
  • Capabilities in driving progressive IT initiatives and fostering team morale;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment;
  • Expertise in IT governance and implementing innovative software methodologies;
  • Proficiency in computer network system designs, logic, and web technologies;
  • Familiarity with various Windows platforms and business application development;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration between business units and IT teams;
  • Problem-solving ability and adeptness in technical document interpretation;
  • Track record of creating cohesive team environments and sustaining employee engagement.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field Or minimum of ten years of relevant experience in IT leadership roles.
