Position Summary:
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation,
maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues. Your role will involve
providing technical support to end-users, assisting with basic network tasks, and contributing
to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Milledgeville will be your home base but must be willing to travel to Atlanta and other
Georgia offices as needed.
Responsibilities:

End-User Support:
  • Provide technical assistance to employees regarding hardware, software, and
    network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assist with the setup of new user accounts and access permissions.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on computer equipment.
  • Assist in the installation and updates of software applications.
  • Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
Basic Network Support:
  • Assist in basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
  • Help with the setup and configuration of routers, switches, and other network devices.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network security measures are in place.
    Documentation: Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Document solutions to common technical issues for reference.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand and address their IT needs.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competences:
  • Energetic, positive, supportive, encouraging and overall pleasant disposition.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage production schedules, and meet
    deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Proven experience in IT management
  • Experience in network security and data protection.
  • Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and
    applications.
  • Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills, ability to find and solve root
    causes of problems.
  • Ability to follow a project from start to finish.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling and assessing sensitive
    employee information; protect privacy related to any employee or candidate
    information.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to
    communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to accept additional duties as needed to help the department team and
    other departments duties as assigned.
  • Must be available after 5:00pm when needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in hardware or help desk support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Quick and efficient with software programs


This is a remote position.
