Compensation:

$60,000 yearly with bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies

  • Talk to people Learn about them. Connect with them. Help them solve problems
  • Summarize why these people need help and why they deserve for the insurance company to listen to them
  • Work with attorneys on strategy on how to move cases to a great resolution
  • Call medical providers to determine client balances and update the case management software accordingly.
  • Redact unrelated medical records in Adobe.
  • Summarize pertinent information from larger documents.
  • Take on side projects to relieve the stress on other case managers, paralegals, and attorneys.
Qualifications:
  • Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once
  • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed
  • Professional case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, at a non-profit, law firm, or human services agency
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required

  • Strong sense of initiative and eagerness to problem-solve
  • Past knowledge and use of FileVine
