We are seeking a talented Structural CAD Designer with proficiency in Revit to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and drafting, with a focus on residential housing projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to produce detailed structural drawings and models using Revit software. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating high-quality designs are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize Revit software to create detailed structural drawings, models, and plans for residential housing projects.
  2. Work closely with architects and engineers to develop structural designs that meet project requirements and adhere to building codes and standards.
  3. Collaborate with team members to integrate structural components seamlessly into overall building designs.
  4. Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate representation of structural elements.
  5. Generate construction documentation including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
  6. Conduct site visits and assist in resolving design-related issues during construction phases.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices related to structural design and Revit usage.
  8. Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  2. Proven experience (3 years) working as a Structural CAD Designer with a focus on residential housing projects.
  3. Proficiency in Revit software with a strong understanding of BIM principles.
  4. Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices related to residential structures.
  5. Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS).
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
