Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary: The Switchboard Operator is responsible for presenting the Brattleboro Retreat in a positive light to all incoming callers. Responsible for learning the departments and transferring calls immediately and politely to the correct department. The Switchboard Operator also greets the public. This position reports to the Telecommunications Operator.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Must accurately and quickly recognize names and numbers in the hospital directory
3. Must have maturity level and emotional stability to handle crisis and stress appropriately.
