About the Role: 

KDC is seeking a part-time, in-person Haitian Creole Interpreter who will assist Early Intervention Specialists by providing written and verbal interpretation services. The candidate must be fluent in Haitian Creole/English. 

FFS/As needed schedule: 6-10 hours per week based on family needs.

We are looking for experienced Interpreters who have:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Bilingual in Haitian Creole/English, required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, required.
  • Pediatric experience. 

As a KDC Interpreter, you’ll get to:  

  • Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during home visits, center-based visits, group meetings and remote when necessary
  • Translate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes
  • Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provision 
  • Maintain compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures/DPH regulations and requirements
