WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must be proficient with computer programs
  • Rehab/DME Billing preferred, but not required
  • BCBS Of MI Billing and or Collections experience preferred, but not required

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Determine if medical documentation is appropriate for claims submission

  • Determine if what is to be billed is payable under insurance criteria. If not, route to the appropriate area.

  • Code all appropriate billing documents, when necessary, before billing to insurance.

  • If a claim is denied in error, must perform a claim review and status claim back to insurance. If correctly denied, must route to next billing area

  • Be of assistance to customers and service areas regarding reimbursement questions.

  • Must be able to check own work for accuracy before actual transmission of claims.

  • Continued education on insurance updates.

  • After training, must be proficient with CIB billing system and Condor order entry system.

  • After training, must be able to use all computer reports generated for the purposes of billing and collection functions.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE:

  • 26834 Lawrence Ave. Center Line, MI
  • Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

REMOTE/HYBRID TERMS:

  • Must train on-site
  • Hybrid, remote, and flex schedule options available after training
