The Allocations & Logistics Analyst is responsible for establishing and driving all inventory allocation and logistics-related activities and initiatives for TWG’s distribution centers and warehouses. The Allocations & Logistics Analyst will manage and drive to meet and exceed KPIs while adhering to the company’s values. In addition, this role will work with upper management to identify and lead the implementation of continuous improvement projects across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Establish KPI’s and inventory metrics and drive alignment through your team to meet or exceed targets
  • Maps out process flows and creates SOP’s an WIS’s as required
  • Help define and manage budget in the areas of labor (hours and cost) within your department daily activities as well as projects
  • Direct staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports (e.g. employee productivity, inventory allocation performance reports, departmental processes, etc.)
  • Manage root cause, corrective and preventive action for inventory allocation and logistic related issues
  • Partner with leadership team to drive changes and improvements to standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other necessary training
  • Lead process improvement projects through the use of prescribed methodologies and tools
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) of inventory allocation and logistics as well as the ERP system and tools (TADA) that support all inventory allocations and logistics
  • Drive strategy through multiple levels of leadership, ensuring clear goals and accountability are established and executed
  • Communicate to the organization on KPI’s, trends, daily goals, performance and company initiatives as required
  • Effectively communicate in an accurate and timely manner to both internal and external customers, including senior management
  • Performs other duties, as assigned
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels at all DC’s and WH’s

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s/4-year degree required or 8+ years of progressive experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other job-related applications (ability to utilize Pivot Tables and VLookup is preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of distribution: inventory allocation and logistics concepts
  • Strong track record of leading and developing talent by empowering them to succeed
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required
  • Ability to identify and understand complex issues, analyze, and compare data, and draw conclusions as a result of analysis
  • Advance problem-solving and decision-making is required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities to complete individual and group tasks
  • Maintain elevated performance under pressure to meet the company’s expectations and displays the ability to address stressful situations in a manner that is professional, and measured
  • Use interpersonal skills to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Working conditions are of an office environment with the occasional interaction in the DC/WH environment
  • Occasional travel may be required; < 5%
