What it's like to be a Building and Assets Superintendent at ferguson townshipAs the Building and Assets Superintendent at Ferguson Township in the State College area, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the asset management of various Township-owned properties and infrastructure, including roads, buildings, equipment, and more. You will be responsible for managing personnel and ensuring that all maintenance functions are carried out efficiently, with a focus on work order management, energy conservation initiatives, and the implementation of sustainable projects. Does this sound like you?To excel as the Building and Assets Superintendent at Ferguson Township in State College, you should possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Essential skills include experience in building maintenance, traffic signal maintenance, and proficiency in work order and asset management systems like TRAISR. A valid PA driver's license is required, along with previous experience supervising employees in a union setting. Preferred qualifications include a Class "B" CDL license with tanker endorsement and no air brake restrictions, as well as certification as a traffic signal technician.
