Mainframe Engineer with COBOL

Required Skills:
  • Experience working with mainframe operating systems, including z/OS, z/VM, and z/VSE.
  • Proficiency in COBOL programming language with a strong understanding of mainframe development tools and utilities.
  • Project Management
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mainframe Systems Engineer with knowledge of Mainframe operating systems (z/OS, OS/390 and z/VM), programming, and project management experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe operating systems and extensive experience with COBOL coding. This role will involve working closely with our clients to maintain and optimize their mainframe environments, as well as developing and enhancing COBOL applications.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with mainframe database systems such as DB2 and IMS.
