Role and Responsibilities:

Skilled welder & fabicator responsible for the manual labor and ultimate control of welding torch he is provided in a given environment. Worker should be able to:


  • Grind his or her own welds and not rely on helper.
  • Read shop drawings/production schematics
  • Accurately use and read measuring tools

    • 5+ years experience 
    • Must be able to drive to sites (Clean licence)
    The candidate will be required to: 
    • Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, and various welding equipment and hand tools is a plus.
    • Candidate must be able to do own fitting, cleaning, and preparation work.
    • Perform any pre-use inspections and post-use shutdowns.
    • Perform basic preventive maintenance and safe keeping of equipment.
    • Assist management with any other welding operations deemed necessary within the Department.
    • Work within a team environmentFabricate, join, and/or repair equipment, fixtures and various types of metal objects and structures using oxygen-acetylene, stick and electric arc welding

**Rol y Responsabilidades:**


**Operación y Configuración de Equipos:**
   - Operar y configurar todo el equipo de soldadura y fabricación con instrucciones mínimas.
   - Utilizar antorchas de soldadura de manera efectiva en varios procesos de soldadura, incluyendo oxiacetileno, electrodo y arco eléctrico.


**Habilidades de Soldadura:**
   - Esmerilar sus propias soldaduras sin depender de un ayudante.
   - Fabricar, unir y/o reparar equipos, accesorios y varias estructuras de metal.


**Habilidades Técnicas:**
   - Leer e interpretar planos de taller y esquemas de producción.
   - Utilizar y leer con precisión herramientas de medición para un trabajo preciso.


**Habilidades Físicas:**
   - Levantar pesos pesados según sea necesario para el trabajo.
   - Permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados mientras realiza areas.

 

**Entorno de Trabajo:**
   - Trabajar en un entorno rápido para cumplir con los requisitos de producción.
   - Operar en un entorno de taller, teniendo en cuenta las condiciones cálidas y húmedas de Texas.


**Experiencia y Calificaciones:**
   - Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en soldadura y fabricación.
   - Debe tener una licencia de conducir limpia y poder conducir a los sitios de trabajo.


**Herramientas y Equipos:**
   - Operar prensas de taladro, sierras eléctricas, amoladoras y varios equipos de soldadura y herramientas manuales.


**Responsabilidades Adicionales:**
   - Preparar materiales para soldadura y fabricación.
   - Demostrar una mentalidad creativa en la resolución de problemas y la ejecución de proyectos.
   - Realizar su propio ajuste, limpieza y trabajo de preparación.
   - Realizar inspecciones previas al uso y cierres al finalizar.
   - Realizar mantenimiento preventivo básico y garantizar el buen cuidado del equipo.
   - Ayudar a la dirección con cualquier otra operación de soldadura considerada necesaria dentro del departamento.

   - Trabajar de manera colaborativa dentro de un entorno de equipo para alcanzar objetivos comunes.
