Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Storeroom Coordinator to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Storeroom Coordinator is responsible for performing cycle counting of inventory and routine duties requiring a thorough knowledge of IFS System, purchasing, receiving, processing, Bills of Material and Shop Scheduling policies and procedures. Pulls and prepares parts for packaging as called upon.

Job Location: Thomasville, GA
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Essential functions:
- Performs cycle count on assigned parts, records accuracy information, investigates reasons for discrepancies, interprets data, and prepares reports using several sources of data as needed.
- Makes recommendations for corrective action based on the results of discrepant part investigation.
- Maintains cycle count records as requested and as defined by CB cycle count policy.
- Generates requisitions for all expense items related to the facilities operation when applicable.
- Receives all expense items for the manufacturing floor and issues to proper staging area per department as needed.
- Prepares certain routine correspondence pertaining to cycle count activity, assembling necessary information, and preparing reports, etc, may include occasional use of confidential information as requested.
- Resolves routine and complex inventory issues.
- Puts away received parts, ships small package parts.
- Operates material handling equipment, forklift, two-wheeler, overhead cranes etc.
- Must know, understand and abide by all safety rules.
- Must be able to work over-time.
- Communicates with floor to provide shop order documentation prior to fulfillment.
- Prepares outbound shipping documentation and maintains shipment records.
Other Duties: Performs any other job duties as directed by Manager.
Internal Contacts: Occasional contacts requiring the obtaining or giving of information.
External Contacts: Contacts required as a regular part of daily duties involving work of non-controversial nature.
Basic Requirements:
Education: Associates/Undergraduate Degree preferred
Experience: Experience in inventory control position, e.g. storeroom operator, receiving, material handler or demonstrates a working knowledge of inventory movement and transactions; general knowledge of ERP/IFS System, inventory transactions and information screens; some knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office required; must have good reading, writing & math skills. Operational experience of material handling equipment required.
Physical Skill & Effort:
Work requires lifting and pushing/pulling of material as required to count, sort, reconcile, prepare, put away or ship parts; must be able to lift parts/boxes of materials ranging from >1 pound up to 65 pounds; work requires a few simple, but rapid, hand operations. Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing and walking on hard cement surface and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, stoop, and squat. Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding with both the inside and outside ambient temperatures; must be able to access all areas of the plant both inside and outside. Operation of material handling equipment required.
Working Conditions and Hazards:
Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Must be able to work in temperature ranges corresponding with both the inside and outside ambient temperatures. Must be able to access all areas of the plant both inside and outside. Will be exposed to noise, dust, dirt and welding fumes. Must be able or willing to work with and properly use all necessary and/or required personal protective equipment including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes.
