Geiger is seeking a Decoration Coordinator eager to join our fast-paced Decoration Center

Under the general supervision of the Decoration Workflow Supervisor, the Decoration Administrative Assistant role manages day-to-day administrative tasks for the Decoration department and serves as the primary customer service contact. Responsibilities include coordinating work orders, tracking quality issues, processing billing and claims, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and resolution of order issues.

Essential Functions

  • Release daily work order batch and sequence for workflow coordinator
  • Maintain work orders for reprints due to shortages on original work order
  • Coordinate with reps and CP program managers to price custom decoration projects
  • Work with decoration workflow coordinator to identify and resolve inbound blank goods without references
  • Track decoration quality issues (damaged/blown in production) and order replacement goods.
  • Create work orders for replacement goods
  • Resolved order issues that prevent work orders from processing
  • Process billing only orders outside the normal embroidery workflow
  • Create shipping memos when appropriate
  • Process claims through CP inventory and vendors as needed
  • Quote on and order heat transfers for projects
  • Order blank goods for projects as needed
  • Partner with decoration center staff to keep area supplied, order needed thread and other supplies as needed
  • Coordinate with Corporate Programs Managers and Geiger WP reps and CSRs on decoration order statuses, timelines, rush orders, and order exceptions (missing product, damage, etc)
  • Oversee special projects for outside vendors
  • Produce reports and resolve issues for aged orders and billing issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of clerical functions equivalent to four years of high school education.
  • Two years of related experience in inventory, work scheduling, and billing preferred.

Competencies/Skill

  • Proficiency in personal computer software, specifically word processing, spreadsheet, and email programs.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer programs as needed.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Physical, Mental and Environmental

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
