Banana Coordinator

Summary: The Banana Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the Banana department supervisors and selectors in order to monitor workflow.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor flow of product/ materials through the warehouse workflow
- Process and complete paperwork for product being received
- Learn the banana schedule
- Fill out pick sheets and send selectors to rooms for bananas at customers request
- Learn and know the colors of bananas break, turn, color and green
- Pull orders and teach selectors how to setup orders
- Load and unload trucks
- Adjust room temperatures
- Learn and do inventory
- Operate Jack and Forklift
- Other duties as assigned
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Thursday 7:00pm - 3:00am
Sunday & Friday 3:30pm- 1:00am
Off Saturdays and rotating Friday & Sundays off
Training, Skills, Licenses: Knowledge of product, at least 1 or 2 years in banana dept., Good Communication Skills and organization, Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to read and understand English.
Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold and/or humid conditions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
