Digital Designer


The Digital Designer is a skilled and creative professional with a passion for communicating ideas and information visually across digital and offline media. The Digital Designer will tailor the user experience by creating graphics and videos that capture the attention of those who see them while communicating the right message through a strong ability to translate business requirements and marketing goals into visual elements. The Graphic Designer works both independently and with a team to create, maintain, and update internal products as well as our public facing brand image.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate and strategize on a wide range of materials that may include web applications, marketing materials, sales presentations, and internal communications.
  • Receive input from product, innovation, sales, and operation managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations.
  • Create and synthesize user interface design patterns, standards, and principles for scalability, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Perform design work to create standard deliverables to support the brand image, such as graphics, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of institutional design systems and best practices to enable quick turnaround from internal stakeholders.


Requirements: 

  • A design degree with 3-5 years of professional experience within a corporate environment.
  • Experience in creating wireframes, concepts, designs, and development specifications for platforms including web sites, mobile apps, emails, registration sites, portals, intranets.
  • Experience in working with development teams in translating designs and intended experiences into functional solutions.
  • Functional knowledge in UI/UX with an understanding of a front-end production development
  • Deep understanding of current digital trends and best practices with a focus on product usability and envisioning and communicating customer journeys.
  • Expert knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Working knowledge of G-suite and enterprise coworking applications
