Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe following tasks are expected to be performed by the aircraft maintenance technician:
Perform heavy C-Check maintenance on supported aircraft, including corrosion control and structural repairs.
All maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Mechanic should be complied with.
All maintenance tasks performed on the supported aircraft must be accurately documented in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and local procedures.
The relevant CFRs and the Companies' policies and procedures outlined in the Company CAMP and Manual System must be adhered to.
The timely completion of all work assignments and the correct disposition of all work forms and documents must be ensured.
The necessary paperwork for part turn-in must be completed. General aircraft maintenance tasks should be assisted by other mechanics as required.
The demonstration of good housekeeping procedures to ensure a clean work area is necessary.
Requirements for control of tools and parts must also be complied with.
Attend training classes and actively pursue on-the-job training on the aircraft.
In the absence of those personnel (as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor), the aircraft maintenance technician may be required to act as a lead mechanic for short periods.
The Lead Mechanic or Maintenance Supervisor may assign other duties to the aircraft maintenance technician. As an aircraft maintenance technician, prolonged periods of standing while working on an aircraft are expected. The ability to lift 50 pounds at a time is also required.

Qualifications
1. We are looking for candidates with an A&P License. We are willing to consider junior A&Ps with a new license as we can train them.
2. We require a minimum of 3 years of experience on Part 135. However, we will also consider candidates with experience on Part 121 or from the following manufacturers: Embraer, Boeing, or Airbus.
3. A High School Diploma is required.
We prefer candidates with experience on the following aircraft: DHC-8, DHC-6, M7/SA-227 (SAAB), EMB-120.
