We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conventional Bore Foreman to join our team and oversee conventional bores for steel pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bore operations, particularly in the steel pipeline industry, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

You will:

  • Model and promote a culture of safety and teamwork among crew members, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of conventional bore operations for steel pipeline projects.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and superintendent to align activities and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. 
  • Lead a team of bore operators and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Resolve problems that arise during the workday.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor progress and quality of work, making adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines and specifications.
  • Prepare and send accurate and complete daily and weekly administrative reports/documents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of construction, oil and gas or related industry experience needed with a focus on steel pipeline projects.
  • A minimum of three years of previous bore and supervisory experience is needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED needed; demonstrated related experience may be substituted for required education.
  • Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Strong knowledge of bore equipment, techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work full-time including weekends and extended hours; travel and work at remote sites as needed and for extended periods.
  • Operate with high professional ethics and in accordance with Frontier’s core values.
  • Have proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage a team and resolve conflicts.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally. Verbally and in writing.
  • Possess basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Can operate heavy equipment including trucks, dozer, excavator, skid loader, farm tractor with implements and other similar equipment.

Working Conditions:

You will primarily work outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions. The job involves exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mist, odors, and vibrations. Typically, the noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. This position requires performing medium physical tasks, such as exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Additionally, the role involves activities such as seeing, hearing, talking, and performing tasks requiring manual dexterity. You may also need to climb, kneel, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push, and perform similar tasks."
