Summary Description

Specific delegation of essential functions between Branch Operations Audit Specialist 1 and 2 is at the discretion of the Branch Operations Manager. Duties to include, but not limited to: Conducts surprise branch cash audits to verify adherence to branch cash policies and procedures. Conducts branch operations audits to determine the level of compliance with branch operating procedures. Manages CSR over/short reporting and manages the quarterly branch checklist process. Performs other duties to support Branch Administration as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Plans, schedules and executes branch cash audits to ensure adherence to branch cash policies

  • Plans, schedules and executes branch operations audits to determine level of compliance with branch operating procedures

  • Plans, schedules and executes audits of the various Loomis cash vaults

  • Administers and oversees quarterly branch checklists with review of all branch lists and correction of deficiencies

  • Coordinates branch responses to deficiencies noted in branch operations audits and quarterly branch checklists and follows up to ensure recommendations are implemented

  • Reports on branch deficiencies and recommends changes in branch administration policies to improve efficiencies or strengthen risk management

  • Conducts Best Practice Reviews for new managers and newly acquired branches to ensure that new managers have an adequate understanding of branch operational requirements

  • Assists Branch Operations Manager with updates and administration of the Branch Operations Manual

  • Administers and oversees CSR over/short reporting

  • Works directly with branch personnel to assist with CSR outage resolution

  • Adherence to all regulatory compliance policies and procedures

  • Available to assist with training initiatives as needed

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years branch operations experience

  • Working knowledge of internal branch compliance policies and procedures

  • Familiarity with applicable branch administration regulations preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of systems and personal computer proficiency

  • Must be available for overnight travel

  • Must have valid driver’s license and exceptional driving record

  • Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions

  • Typically the employee may sit to perform the work. However there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work

  • Excellent oral communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of the Bank’s operations, policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of Silverlake system preferred
