Day to day as a Mental Health: Triple P TherapistAs a Full-Time Triple P Therapist at The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing home-based and community-based mental health services that empower families. You will deliver psychoeducational programming tailored to caregivers of children aged 0-11 years, equipping them with strategies to enhance their child's development and well-being. What matters mostTo excel as a Full-Time Triple P Therapist at The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc., you will need a robust set of skills and competencies. A Master's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Couple & Family Therapy, etc.) is essential, along with strong computer skills to manage documentation and utilize specialized software efficiently. Excellent communication abilities will be crucial for engaging effectively with caregivers and families in both home and community settings. Additionally, a solid understanding of child development and mental health principles will enable you to deliver impactful psychoeducational programming. Lastly, being empathetic and adaptable will help you connect with diverse families, ensuring that you provide the compassionate support they need on their journey toward positive change.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Master's degree in the "helping" fields (i.e., Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Couple & Family Therapy, etc.)
