University Physicians Association is seeking qualified applicants for full-time Phlebotomist position located within UT Medical Center. Candidates must be detailed oriented and able to work under concierge centered office practice. Excellent customer service skills are essential in relating with patients, co-workers and physicians. Candidate should have experience with Electronic Medical Records systems; ability to problem solve, have a professional appearance and attitude, and effective clinical knowledge of procedures, equipment and processes. Meeting deadlines with effective processes and exceptional data entry are essential. This position will work closely with physicians and team members to provide a seamless patient experience, at a high level of patient care within a highly efficient system.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collecting blood
  • Preparing, labeling and packaging samples
  • Data entry for tests and lab orders
  • Running of CLIA -waived lab tests; Maintain and document all Quality Control
Requirements:
  • Must have phlebotomy experience and current certification
