LOCATION: Redmond, WA

Pay: $28 - $30DOE

SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm – some flexibility with start time

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess vendors, negotiate favorable pricing, and ensure adherence to specifications and purchase agreement terms. Maintain comprehensive records.

• Coordinate with vendors and freight consolidators for material shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Expedite materials when necessary.

• Monitor and assess vendor performance on existing purchase orders.

• Acquire all materials needed for marine vessels docked locally.

• Provide prompt, accurate, and customer-focused responses to inquiries about order status and delivery schedules.

• Process and maintain records, expedite repairs, and ensure swift return of repair and maintenance materials for Alaska facilities.

• Continuously provide vendor performance feedback to the Purchasing Supervisor.

• Maintain all records related to purchasing and transportation activities. Perform data entry for purchase orders.

• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two to four years in a purchasing or buying role, involving vendor sourcing, selection, and pricing.

• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
