Descripción del Trabajo:

Como Camarero de Restaurante de Hotel, desempeñas un papel fundamental en garantizar que los huéspedes tengan una experiencia gastronómica excepcional mientras mantienes los más altos estándares de servicio. Además de las responsabilidades existentes descritas en la descripción del trabajo, tu rol abarcará las siguientes funciones:

Funciones Adicionales:

  1. Conocimiento del Menú: Poseer un conocimiento profundo del menú del restaurante, incluidas las ofertas de alimentos y bebidas, y hacer recomendaciones con confianza a los huéspedes según sus preferencias y restricciones dietéticas.
  2. Venta Adicional: Promover de manera proactiva las especialidades, elementos adicionales del menú y bebidas para mejorar la experiencia gastronómica y aumentar los ingresos.
  3. Preparación en la Mesa: Realizar la preparación en la mesa de ciertos platos o bebidas, como cócteles, ensaladas o postres, para agregar un toque personalizado a la experiencia del huésped.
  4. Interacción con los Huéspedes: Interactuar con los huéspedes de manera amigable y acogedora, estableciendo una relación y creando una experiencia gastronómica memorable que fomente visitas repetidas.
  5. Servicio de Vinos: Brindar un servicio experto de vinos, incluido el decantado, el vertido y la descripción de las selecciones de vinos a los huéspedes, mejorando su disfrute de la comida.
  6. Colaboración en Equipo: Colaborar eficazmente con colegas en el restaurante, la cocina y el bar para garantizar un flujo de servicio fluido y la satisfacción de los huéspedes.
  7. Aseguramiento de la Calidad: Supervisar la calidad y presentación de alimentos y bebidas antes de servirlos para garantizar que cumplan con los estándares de excelencia del hotel.
  8. Apoyo en Eventos Especiales: Ayudar con la coordinación y ejecución de eventos especiales o experiencias de comedor privadas, asegurando que se satisfagan y superen todas las necesidades de los huéspedes.
  9. Mejora Continua: Buscar oportunidades de auto-mejora a través de programas de capacitación y desarrollo, mejorando habilidades en hospitalidad, servicio y conocimientos de productos.
  10. Seguridad e Higiene: Cumplir con estrictos estándares de higiene y seguridad, incluido el manejo adecuado de alimentos y prácticas de saneamiento, para garantizar un entorno de comedor limpio y seguro para los huéspedes y colegas.
  11. Compromiso Comunitario: Participar en iniciativas y eventos de divulgación comunitaria para promover el compromiso del hotel con la responsabilidad social y fomentar relaciones positivas con residentes locales y negocios.

Calificaciones y Educación:

Además de los requisitos de calificación y educación establecidos en la descripción del trabajo original, los candidatos para este rol idealmente deberían poseer:

  • Experiencia previa en un entorno de restaurante de alta calidad o de lujo, demostrando un compromiso con brindar un servicio excepcional.
  • Certificación o entrenamiento en servicio de vinos, coctelería o mixología, con un sólido entendimiento de técnicas de preparación de bebidas y recetas de cócteles.
  • Habilidad probada para realizar múltiples tareas en un entorno acelerado manteniendo la atención al detalle y cumpliendo con los estándares de servicio.
  • Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y una pasión genuina por la hospitalidad, con la capacidad de anticipar y superar las expectativas de los huéspedes.
  • Disposición para trabajar en horarios flexibles, incluidas noches, fines de semana y días festivos, para adaptarse a las necesidades del restaurante y sus huéspedes.
