- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and replacements of electrical components within wiring harnesses.
- Adhere to established build standards and consistently achieve daily and weekly output goals.
- Support production goals, projects, and deliverables.
- Follow escalation procedures for addressing quality and safety concerns.
- Ensure production deliverables meet quality, cost, and safety (HSE) requirements.
- Provide assistance and support to the Operations Team Leader in day-to-day operations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to 5S practices (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for an organized and efficient workspace.
- Strictly comply with safety protocols, utilizing appropriate equipment and tools.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming material to maintain quality standards.
- Share knowledge and train others when necessary.
- Complete administrative activities, including file maintenance and accurate paperwork processing.
- Adhere to company policies and follow guidelines outlined in the employee handbook.
- REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or possess a GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in PC skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and proficiency in quality control tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including ISO14001.
- Familiarity with Quality standard ISO9001 & TUV.
- Understanding of production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and re-work.
- Additional manufacturing-related knowledge relevant to the role is a plus.
