Summary


Under the leadership of the F&B Director and Assistant Director, the Food and Beverage Manager will assist in the overall supervision of all Food and Beverage Operations at Loveland Ski Area, including direct coordination of the Loveland Basin Lodge F&B outlets. The Manager will possess the organizational and operational skills to plan and schedule daily food preparation in relation to anticipated demand, with dedication to quality, food safety and efficiency as the main priorities; accurately and efficiently deploy staff to meet the business needs; and order and organize product to keep the outlets stocked. The F&B Manager will constantly motivate F&B team members to deliver an excellent guest experience. This leader will enforce compliance with Health Department and Company safety regulations and policies. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.


Essential Functions


· Oversee and direct daily F&B Staff operations and deployment to include: upholding team member performance expectations, deploy daily staff as appropriate for business needs, maintaining acceptable ticket times and high food quality standards;

· Coordinate daily food preparation and assist in execution, safe food handling and guest service during meal periods;

· Maintain industry standard food safety and employee safety standards and monitor for compliance;

· Maintain food production facility cleanliness to Company and Health Department standards within all Loveland F&B outlets;

· Maintain high level of guest service and hospitality and effect successful guest recovery;

· Assist in leading staff station training and proper food production standards;

· Implement and maintain food cost and inventory controls;

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Requirements/Qualifications


· High School Diploma or Equivalent Education and/or Experience;

· At least 3 years in a high-volume food service environment;

· At least 1 year in a supervisory capacity in a high volume establishment;

· Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record;

· Ability to successfully pass 7-year background screening;

· Possession of, or ability to obtain, ServSafe Food Protection Manager certificate;

· Possession of, or ability to obtain, Colorado TIPS Alcohol Service certification;

· Ability to step in to perform all duties of any position in the F&B outlets at any time, flexibility to move between leader and line level responsibilities quickly;

· Ability to take initiative to resolve day-to-day operation issues;

· Proficiency in back of house kitchen operations and front of house guest service;

· Ability to stand for extended periods;

· Withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures as found in typical kitchen environments;

· Winter outdoor work may be required, i.e. snow shoveling, loading/unloading delivery trucks, etc.

· Advanced office computer skills required including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typical business computer applications.

· Ability to communicate fluently in English- speak and understand verbal and written communications;

· Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

· Must have understanding of general health department regulations;

· Must be at least 18 years old.
