Job Overview

The Yard Laborer is an essential member of a team that is responsible for maintaining and organizing yards, construction sites, warehouses, or other outdoor spaces. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks and providing support to ensure the smooth operation and cleanliness of the designated area.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, washing & detailing company vehicles which includes cars, trucks, box trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Cleaning equipment as they are returned to the yard which includes scraping mud, peeling tape, removing trash & construction debris.
• Minimal painting to restore heavily scratched or damaged paint on equipment as needed.
• Operate and maintain various tools and operating equipment while following safety guidelines and protocols.
• Assist in managing inventory by organizing and categorizing materials or products in the yard or warehouse.
• Dispose of waste materials or hazardous substances in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any safety hazards or incidents to the Supervisor.
• Work closely with other team members, contractors, or vendors to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Perform additional duties or assist in other areas as assigned by the Supervisor to meet the needs of the organization.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a clean driving record to be eligible for this position
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Attention to details is a MUST
• Ability to receive directions and work well with others.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labor in indoor/outdoor environments.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $18.00 to $24.00 DOE

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-hour day shift

Work Location: In-person, Murrieta, CA
