Dental Sterilization Tech wanted for a friendly, advanced technology driven office in Rancho Bernardo with patient care as our top priority.

Entry level position with the opportunity to learn dental assistant functions to support the staff and patient flow great for someone who likes to pursue a career in dental field.

Training will be provided for candidates with minimal dental experience.

This is a full-time position, 5 days a week position Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

•A high school education is required to be considered for this post.

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

•Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

•Ability to follow protocols and maintain a clean and orderly workspace

Responsibilities

•Responsibilities of the Sterilization Technician will be to organize and maintain dental instruments in working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols.

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper instrument and equipment setup.

•Able to utilize electronic dental records system, practice management software, and electronic medical records system to schedule patients and keep records

•Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor in the performance of duties

•Perform various clerical and clinical duties as assigned by supervisor

Chairside Assistance:

•Assist dental professionals during procedures by providing them with sterilized instruments and supplies

•Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a safe and efficient workflow

•Assist Hygienist with patient care

Patient Care and Education:

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have.

Sterilization and Maintenance:

• Follow strict infection control protocols, including proper sterilization and disinfection of dental instruments and equipment.

• Clean and maintain dental equipment and treatment areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

• Order and maintain dental supplies and inventory, keeping track of stock levels and restocking as necessary.
