Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

About Us:
Our client is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse and Delivery Associate to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Deliveries:

    • Drive company trucks for deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
    • Manually load and unload trucks (candidates must have no pre-existing back injuries).
    • Maintain a clean driving record.
    • Perform deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Maintain cleanliness of trucks by washing and sweeping them regularly.

  • Warehouse Duties:

    • Manage trash and dumpsters effectively.
    • Paint flagpole parts and perform light parts assembly.
    • Maintain inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
    • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (forklift experience required).
    • Use power tools for various tasks.

  • General Requirements:

    • Non-smoking.
    • Pass drug and alcohol tests.
    • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
    • Demonstrate good typing skills.
    • Exhibit strong math skills, including the ability to read a tape measure and work with inches, feet, and fractions.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Forklift certification or significant forklift experience.
  • Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Basic knowledge of power tools and their safe operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Must have no pre-existing back injuries or conditions that would prevent manual labor.
